Do
I have to work full-time?
No. All jobs can be tailored to suit your needs. All I ask is that
if you make arrangements to work on a part-time basis (eg 3days
per week) that you stick to this arrangement.

am working for myself (self-employed), do I have to become employed
by buildingrooms?
No. Although we offer full employment, this doesnt always suit everyone.
We can offer you work through self employment (CIS).

I run my own
business and van and have a helper, can you get me extra work?
Yes. We always have extra work to do. If you are running a company,
we will need valid receipts for any payments made to you.

How do I get Paid?
If you are employed by Buildingrooms, you will be paid directly
into your bank account. If you are self-employed, you will be paid
by cheque (less tax deductions). If you are running your own company,
we will pay you directly.

Where
is most of your work from?
We get enquiries from all over Northern Ireland, England, Eire and
other places/countries. I am currently taking work only from the
Greater Belfast area. see map

Belfast, can you still supply me with work outside Belfast ?
Yes. We have a lot of enquiries outside Belfast that we could cater
for if we had suitable tradesmen to do the work.see

What
are your rates of pay?
Rates of pay differ depending on skills and experience. I offer
a good hourly or daily rate in return for quality workmanship.

is Buildingrooms.com?
Buildingrooms is a trading name of RH Building & Renovation
Ltd. The registered office is here in Belfast. This is my building
company which I formed in 2003 to provide a quality building service
for Belfast Customers.

When
can I start?
Once you have filled in the application form, provided references
and have proved your credentials as a quality tradesman, sub-contractor
or company, then you may start immediately.

references do you need?
Usually your last two employers or in the case of sub-contractors
or companies we will need two references from previous customers
you have done work for.

Yes if you are sub-contracted by Buildingrooms.

the work ever dry up?
Not likely. For the past 2 years, the number of people looking on
the internet has been steadily increasing. I always have more work
than the company can cope with.

No. My intentions are to expand to cover more areas than just Belfast.
